Senator Barack Obama does not agree with all of my ideals, and he is not perfect... but he has been my candidate since March, and he is My President. I will take the good with the bad in the term to come. This feeling of having an intelligent, inspiring, diplomatic and thoughtful man win the office I wanted him to win is like nothing else. I feel so blessed today and hope that my President proves to be as good as his word.

God be with Obama, He will need help. We are headed for a national if not world wide problem, and who ever is in power will be blamed. If the world problems progress as expected the Republicans will will win in 2012. DOD
Hey now! Stop with the raining on my parade. Yea tough times ahead, I KNOW. Can't a Liberal have a day of celebration? I've been mad at my government for so long I just need to enjoy this little bit of happiness before actually digging into the work ahead.
We have a politician who ran a positive campaign not based on fear. We have a president elect who makes me feel like government is a collective activity rather than something run by "the adults". This is good stuff. If the GOP could produce some good stuff I'd consider voting for them too. :P
